M.V. Juan José Rivera

Veterinarian specializing in animal oncology. He practiced in private clinical work between 1997 and 2023, alongside an extensive career in municipal public administration.

At the Municipality of Rada Tilly he served as Secretary of Government (2005-2023), was elected city councilor in 2011, and chaired the Ente Regulador de los Servicios Públicos (Public Utilities Regulatory Agency) between 2011 and 2023. Since 2023 he has held the position of Secretary of Environment and Sustainable Development Oversight of the Province of Chubut. At the national level, he was Vice President of the Consejo Federal de Medio Ambiente (the Federal Environmental Council of Argentina) in 2025 and assumed its Presidency in 2026.
