Ing. Javier Gort

Head of Institutional Relations for the Southern Region

Genneia

A civil engineer from the Universidad Nacional del Sur (National University of the South) in Bahía Blanca. He was born and raised in Rawson, in the province of Chubut. He currently serves as Head of Institutional Relations for the Southern Region at Genneia.

He has more than twenty years of experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in the wind sector, and has been part of Genneia since 2005. From the outset he took part in the measurement of the wind resource and in the identification and assessment of sites for the development of new wind farms in the country.

    To present the energy decarbonization initiatives under way in the province of Chubut through the use of renewable sources (sun and wind) and their contribution to the energy mix. The panel will also explore technological, productive, and sustainable transformations; energy security as a basis for economic development; and the challenges and opportunities of public-private coordination across the province.
