Lic. Gustavo E. Castagnino

He is Director of Corporate Affairs at Genneia, Argentina's leading renewable energy generation company. He is also a member of the company's Executive Committee and holds several positions in industry chambers and associations.

He was previously Director of Institutional Relations at Mercedes-Benz in Argentina and held several positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy. He holds a degree in International Relations from the Universidad del Salvador (Buenos Aires), and has completed graduate studies at Universidad Austral, Universidad de San Andrés, IAE, ITBA, and Digital House. He served as president and vice president of the Círculo de Directores de Comunicación de Argentina (the Argentine Circle of Communication Directors), and is currently president of the Grupo de Fundaciones y Empresas (the Group of Foundations and Companies).

    To present the energy decarbonization initiatives under way in the province of Chubut through the use of renewable sources (sun and wind) and their contribution to the energy mix. The panel will also explore technological, productive, and sustainable transformations; energy security as a basis for economic development; and the challenges and opportunities of public-private coordination across the province.
