Federico José Schäfer is an engineer focused on nature-based solutions, with experience as a consultant for livestock companies and specialized training in general management and grazing systems. He previously worked at multinational consumer goods companies in the areas of quality, production, development, and logistics, and served as manager of regional sustainability projects in Latin America.
He has extensive experience in livestock systems integrated with conservation strategies, designed to balance productivity and environmental regeneration. He works with carbon project developers, governments, non-governmental organizations, and international buyers, promoting teamwork as a key factor in advancing the sale of high-integrity carbon credits and in strengthening sustainable practices that deliver benefits for nature, communities, and businesses.

To analyze the financial architecture and the market channels that make it possible to turn the environmental assets of Chubut into concrete investment: carbon credit and biodiversity markets, financing instruments, and the role of multilateral and bilateral cooperation in supporting the productive sectors of the province of Chubut that hold strong potential to contribute to the decarbonization and sustainability of the economy.
