She holds a degree in Political Science. For the second consecutive year, she chairs the Comisión de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable (the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee) of the Honorable Senado de la Nación Argentina (the Argentine National Senate).
A staunch defender of the land and marine environmental resources of the province of Chubut, she is the driving force behind the bill establishing a regulatory framework for the renewable and low-emission hydrogen industry, and behind the bill on special forms of environmental crime (ecocide), among other environmental protection initiatives.
She currently also leads the Mesa de Trabajo de Legisladores Patagónicos en Hidrógeno (the Working Group of Patagonian Legislators on Hydrogen), which seeks to promote the development of sustainable energy in Patagonia.
