Former National Secretary of Climate Change
An agricultural engineer trained at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (University of Buenos Aires). He completed graduate studies in Democracy and Public Policy at the London School of Economics (United Kingdom). He served as Secretary of Climate Change and Sustainable Development at the Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable de la Nación (the national Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, 2015-2019) and at the United Kingdom Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, in the area of cross-cutting sustainable development (2008).
He created and coordinated the Gabinete Nacional de Cambio Climático (the National Climate Change Cabinet, 2016-2019). He was Chair of the G-20 Climate Sustainability Working Group under the Argentine Presidency in 2018 and of the global Board of the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (2018-2019). He is a partner at the consulting firm CICLA Desarrollo Sustentable, an advisor to the Red de Acción Política (RAP, the Political Action Network), and a member of the Comité Argentino de Relaciones Internacionales (CARI, the Argentine Council for International Relations) and of Fundación Argentina Global.

To analyze the financial architecture and the market channels that make it possible to turn the environmental assets of Chubut into concrete investment: carbon credit and biodiversity markets, financing instruments, and the role of multilateral and bilateral cooperation in supporting the productive sectors of the province of Chubut that hold strong potential to contribute to the decarbonization and sustainability of the economy.
